About Me

I am a Durban born, Cape Town based Speech Therapist. Speech therapy is not only my occupation but my true vocation. During school, l had the opportunity to job shadow a speech therapist and from that day…It’s all I have ever wanted to be.

I find myself truly honoured to be a speech therapist. I am motivated by the fact that I have the opportunity to make an individuals life more meaningful through effective communication strategies and techniques. I care intently about my patients and will always prioritise the needs of my patients above all else. We are a very flexible team that prides ourselves on patient care.

During my community service, I was privileged to have been placed at KwaMashu Clinic where I was exposed to a variety of different patients, from childhood speech and language delays to stroke. This experience also granted me an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team ( ie. Working with physiotherapists and occupational therapists). I also worked at King Edward hospital which provided me with clinical skills/techniques that will assist greatly with treatment.
